Federation holds press conference to hold national convention on Chaitra 15 and 16

The Returnee Federation Nepal, an organization active in the interests of those who have returned from overseas employment, is set to hold its second national convention in Kathmandu on Chaitra 15 and 16.
Chairman Uttam Adhikari informed that 600 representatives from 65 districts will participate in the convention. Prime Minister and CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli will inaugurate the convention.
Chairman Adhikari informed at a press conference that the conventions of the organization's Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provincial committees, 58 district committees and nearly 200 municipal committees have been completed before the convention.
Conference organizing committees have been formed in two provincial committees and seven district committees, and the organization has expanded to 65 districts. There are expatriate representatives of the federation in 7 different countries. It was informed at the press conference that 35,000 members have been added through the membership expansion campaign conducted by the organization.
The federation, which was formally announced on 16th Poush 2078 BS with the formation of the Coordination Committee for the attainment of the CPN (UML) mass organization on 27th Poush 2077 BS, has officially entered its fourth year.
A 99-member Central Committee including 9 office bearers and a 5-member Accounts Commission, Election Commission and Disciplinary Commission will be elected from the Second National General Convention.
