Kathmandu. The second national general convention of the Returnee Federation Nepal has unanimously elected a 99-member central committee under the leadership of Comrade Binod Prasad Bhattarai.
Archana Basnet Rokaha and Jitendra Baniya have been elected as the vice-chairmen of the committee, Khem Bahadur Karki as the general secretary, Nawaraj Shrestha as the deputy general secretary, and Sita Basyal, Gyaneshwor Ghimire, Hem Rai, and Gyanu Khawas as the secretaries.
The second general convention of the Returnee Federation Nepal was held in Kathmandu on Chaitra 15-16. The program was hosted by CPN-UML Senior Vice-President Ishwor Pokharel, while the program was chaired by the outgoing president Uttam Adhikari, who was also present at the event. The program was hosted by Standing Committee Member and Head of Mass Organization Coordination Mechanism Bhanubhakta Dhakal, Central Member and Returnee Federation Nepal In-charge Krishna Bahadur KC, and CPN-UML Central Member Madhav Dhungel.
The inaugural session also saw the release of Returnee Darpan, published in connection with the general convention of the Returnee Federation Nepal.
